"My son was an extremely fussy eater – the look and touch of food would put him off eating. Purple Kitchen has gentle encouraged Mason [started with PKC at 17 months old - now 3 years old] to handle and taste different foods. He no longer has a food phobia. Mason’s view towards food is completely different. He thoroughly enjoys cooking. He enjoys mealtime rather than dreads them. This is the best activity I have done for Mason and myself. I only wish I had done this for my other children”. Mrs Burrell, Bucks."

"“It’s our favourite class. I notice how it is improving Fraser’s (3 years) listening skills. We cook together most days at home now”. Mrs Rollafson, Bucks." "

"So this is why at PKC we offer a unique learning environment for you and your pre-schooler. Parents who already have experience of our cook school say the following:
“My son [Elliott, age 4] thoroughly enjoys the classes – his first question most mornings: “is it cookery today”? I love the mix of creating a new dish; learning practical skills, using scissors, a grater, weighing scales, tasting new flavours and foods’ learning about where food comes from and of course sampling the end product”. Mrs Merry, Bucks. "

"Research* has shown:
- Children’s social and intellectual skills are greatly enhanced by parental involvement in their learning, for example, reading together, cooking or singing.
- Children with experience of pre-school education perform better at age seven than those without.
- Starting pre-school education at two years old improves children’s intellectual development.
- Pre-school reduces the risk of Special Educational Needs from 1 in 3 to 1 in 5.
So this is why at PKC we offer a unique learning environment for you and your pre-schooler.
